Paul McLinden

With nearly three decades in the industry, Paul has helped to shape Pilates into one of the world's fastest growing exercise methods and we are delighted to have him as part of our Reab team.

During his classical ballet training at London’s Central Ballet School, Paul worked as an apprentice to Pilates industry legend Alan Herdman, the man who is credited with first bringing the Pilates method to the UK.  After travelling the globe practicing and perfecting his knowledge of the classical Pilates method, Paul was appointed the first Head of Teacher Training for the Body Control Pilates Association in 1996. Body Control continues to be the UK’s largest Pilates organisation and a world leader in Pilates education.

Paul subsequently moved to Hove and co-founded Brighton's first Pilates studio and remains a senior course lecturer for the Body Control Pilates Association.  He is certified as a Level 3 Pilates Instructor by the Register for Exercise Professionals.

Here at Reab Paul teaches Reformer and Matwork classes as well as private lessons (for 1, 2 or 3 people) on Thursday mornings.  His knowledge of Pilates is legendary as his sense of humour and calm, wise manner of teaching.
